Why do mold and water results take longer?
Those samples are sent to an outside laboratory. Mold runs about 48 hours and water about 4 business days — and labs don’t process over weekends or holidays.
What if my sample is collected right before the weekend?
Labs don’t process over the weekend, so the clock pauses. A sample taken late in the week comes back once the lab reopens — the next business day, usually the start of the following week.
My radon test is done — when do I get results, and who picks up the monitor?
Radon results come about 48 hours from when the test starts. The monitor is retrieved on a separate visit at a later date, so there’s nothing you need to coordinate or wait on.
